A look back at an exceptional day where I shared my passion for wine and cheese with 250 women from all over France. And how you too can experience it!

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, I had the chance to welcome 250 participants to the heart of Dijon for a special tasting workshop, organized as part of the Pop In . The goal? To introduce them to Burgundy wines in a fun, educational, and above all memorable way. Between laughter, quizzes, and tastings, this day confirmed one thing: wine is for sharing !

A Day Punctuated by the Curiosity of Tasting
From 9am to 5pm , every 20 minutes, a new group of 10 to 12 girls arrived in my cellar, ready to learn more about Burgundy grape varieties. On the program:
1 carefully selected chardonnay & 1 pinot noir (one white, one red, and one crémant for extra sparkle!).
A quiz to win stickers (and leave with a smile).
Why This Wine Workshop Made an Impression
The Pedagogical Approach :
I adapted my speech to make wine accessible : no jargon, just stories.
Participants learned to smell, observe and taste like pros – without the hassle.
The Playful Side :
A quiz with questions like " What aromas do you smell here?, Is the wine balanced?, Does the wine smell like grapes?!"
At the end of each tasting, a sticker to stick on their notebook... and bursts of laughter guaranteed!
The Discoveries :
Many have been surprised by the accessibility of a wine tasting, you have to accept the introspective side.
Some even discovered fruity Chardonnay and enjoyed it! - a victory for the taste buds!
And you, when are you coming?
This day was a wonderful demonstration that wine and cheese are for everyone – as long as you present them with passion. In my regular workshops , I offer the same approach:
Tasting of 4 wines + 4 cheeses (with vineyard stories).
Tips for impressing at aperitifs (or shining in society).
A friendly atmosphere , far from elitist clichés.
